BT Pathway 818
BT Pathway is a small, fully hybrid, modular telephone
system designed specifically for the needs of the small business
or branch organisation. Using either standard analogue telephones
or it's own system telephones, it's a very well featured entry-level
system.
Initially configured with 2 lines and 6 extensions with the addition
of further modules it can increase to a maximum of 6 exchange lines
and 18 extensions using either analogue or ISDN2.
Adding Functionality.
You can make enhancements by adding applications
such as voice mail or hotel functionality
and peripherals such as headsets.
Voice Mail.
Voicemail is a highly featured cost effective solution
for the small business, with its own auto attendant. Enables customers
to never lose that vital or confidential business call, they can
be open for business 24 hours a day. The system can also be used
as an internal messaging system ensuring that messages and ideas
are never lost.
The single port provides up to a maximum of 18 personal
mailboxes and 1 centralised answering machine. The overall message
and greeting storage capacity is 80 minutes.
Callers to an extension, which has a mailbox, may
leave a message if their call is unanswered or if the extension
is busy. Users who have a mailbox may also divert all calls to their
Voice mail and access it both remotely and locally using a PIN security.
Calls may be monitored using the Featurephone facility to assess
whether they should be answered immediately. Each message is Time
and Day stamped.
If the Auto Attendant facility is in use the may
customise the greeting which is played to callers on all lines programmed
with this feature.
Hotel Upgrade
BT Pathway with Hotel Upgrade will put new technology
at your customer's fingertips, helping to provide a better, more
accommodating, service for guests. Plus the means to plan and manage
more efficiently.

Door Intercom
The Door Intercom is an entry phone, which
can be connected, allowing control entry to premises without
leaving the desk.
Battery Back Up
An optional Battery backup unit can be installed
which provides full operation for at least one hour in the
event of a mains power failure. Replacement batteries are
widely available.

Headsets Chester Communications can supply
a wide variety of headsets including Plantronics, GN Netcom,
Claria & Clement Clark compatible with this system.
